'Batman vs. Superman' Movie Update: Batmobile Spotted On Set As Production Prepares For Big Night Shoot (PHOTOS)

The “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” production is reportedly big night shoots that may feature the Caped Crusader.

Batman-News reports the production has posted a notice around the Russell Industrial Center in Detroit. The notice states filming will begin on Wednesday, Sept. 10 and will feature pyrotechnics.

Check out the notice posted by Batman-News here. Along with the letter, images of the Batmobile on set have surfaced. It’s possible the vehicle will make an appearance during this week's night shoot.

According to Batman-On-Film, the Batmobile was used during a night shoot featuring Jesse Eisenberg back in August.

"There is filming taking place on a seaside port at night,” the source wrote in an email to Batman-On-Film. “It seems as if The Batmobile has and will be involved. A chase scene has been filmed that included a lot of stunts.

“A Batman stunt double was used to film a scene that had Batman standing on the top of a 40+ story crane. Most of this shooting has been stunt double heavy. Also, Lex does have hair (as I mentioned a while back), but not the bright red as some sites are speculating."

Along with new set photos, there are also new rumors regarding Scoot McNairy’s mystery role. A report by TheDevilEyes.com claimed McNairy is taking on the role of Jimmy Olsen, a reporter at the Daily Planet and a friend of Superman.

"Scoot is playing Jimmy Olsen, but with a bit of a twist,” the source said. “Jimmy was injured during the battle of Zod vs Superman. His legs where pinned under falling building rubble and that caused him to lose the legs. He now walks with the use of two prosthetic legs…He doesn't blame Superman for it [his loss of legs]. He feels grateful that Superman saved the world."

“Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” will be released to theaters on March 25, 2016.
