Kris Jenner is reportedly taking action after receiving multiple death threats directed toward her and daughters Kendall and Kylie Jenner.
TMZ reported that the Kardashian family matriarch has reportedly decided to increase security at their Hidden Hills home. Sources claimed that an unidentified woman has been harassing the reality star family with phones calls and various threats.
Sources close to the family claim that the woman has called Kim Kardashian's mother up to 300 times in one day. The woman also threatened to release a sex tape starring Jenner and her husband Bruce.
"Bruce and Kris made the decision to get the FBI involved after the threats escalated and included very specific information about threats made against Kendall and Kylie," the source told Radar Online. "This is being taken very seriously and Kris has dramatically increased security at her Hidden Hills compound."
The source added: "It's very concerning because over the years, there have been photographers that have been able to gain access to Kris' gated community. Even if you don't like the Kardashians, no one deserves to live like a prisoner in their own home. Kris also has a bodyguard with her for the foreseeable future."
Insiders say Kanye West and his wife "insisted that they pay for the added security."
"Not only because they also live at the house with their daughter, North, but because they will do anything for Kris," said the source. "Kanye might butt heads with Kris at times, but he genuinely loves her, and will do anything to protect her."
The FBI reportedly raided a Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills room belonging to Christina Bankston - the woman suspected to be behind the death threats. Agents reportedly seized a cell phone, laptop, iPad and iPod Touch which belonged to the woman, who was questioned about her Internet use.
"After the search I was taken into a room and was asked what I thought this was all about," Bankston said. "I said I didn't know. They asked me if I use the Internet a lot and I said 'yes.' They told me it was about Kris Jenner and her [accounts] being hacked, her email being hacked, her iCloud being broken into and getting crank calls. I was flabbergasted."
No arrests were made.
