All good things must come to an end! Khloe Kardashian is single again, according to Us Weekly.
The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star and boyfriend rapper French Montana have split after dating for eight months. Us Weekly stated that the couple is "on a break" because the relationship became "too heavy" for the reality star and she wanted time away from him.
However, sources close to her told E! News that she ended the relationship because of Montana's "needy, obsessive" behavior, adding the he "became so dependent" on Kardashian.
"For all intents and purposes, Khloé is single again," a source said of the 30-year-old. "She's just decided to move on. Khloé thinks he's a great guy but it just wasn't working out."
A second source told E! News that the rapper is having trouble with the split and "won't really accept it." The exes are reportedly still in contact with one another.
The two began dating shortly after Kardashian's split from her basketball player husband of four years, Lamar Odom. They spent quality time with one another over the summer and celebrated the reality star's 30th birthday together. Kardashian also appeared in Montana's "Don't Panic" music video.
Montana was also featured in a promo trailer for "Kourtney & Khloé Take the Hamptons." Media reports suggested that the rapper was taking advantage of their relationship to boost his career.
Kim Kardashian's younger sister could have hinted at the break with an Instagram post on Thursday when she quoted poet Robert M. Drake, People Magazine reported.
"Maybe one day we'll find that place where you and I could be together. And we'll catch our dreams within the waves of change," she wrote. "So smile for me one last time and believe that we'll meet again. Until then, I'll be missing you."
