Can Pamela Anderson and her curves ever not be news?
The former "Baywatch" babe has been photographed on the beach in a photospread for Vogue Brazil's June issue, wearing skimpy swimwear that shows that she's still got the assets that men have drooled over for decades.
One of the images has Anderson wearing a long-sleeved red crop top swimsuit that shows off her flat abs and also ample "peek-a-boob". Two of her tattoos (one on her lower back and another on her left arm) can be seen in a second picture in another red swimsuit, if the eyes manage to tear themselves away from the part of her body that is unabashedly on display.
Anderson has also been snapped in a white T-shirt-like swimsuit and a black bikini. The pictures were taken by Mario Testino.
The June issue of Vogue Brazil is themed on the body, and features Giselle Bundchen on the cover, back in toned, supermodel shape just two months after giving month to her daughter in December 2012. Bundchen had revealed in an interview with Vogue in 2010 that she relies on kung fu and yoga to keep her body in its famous form during pregnancy.
"Mario got so excited with Gisele's shape, and how she looked amazing two months after giving birth, that he proposed to do eight more editorials on the theme, each very different from the other, discussing subjects from gender identity to the right to use your body as you wish," said Daniela Falcão, editor of Vogue Brazil in an article on www.wwd.com.
"In Brazil, body image is very relevant since people have a big concern with the shape, whether being dressed or naked. It's such a part of the culture - like in Rio, where the beach meets the city and people go to the beach after work and on weekends," said Testino, quoted in the same article.
Coming back to Anderson and, how can we avoid it, her body, recent media reports in the UK featured pictures of the 45-year-old on what was said to be a date with a mystery man. Anderson chose a white T-shirt and tiny black shorts for her attire, which emphasized her legs are also worth looking at, in case anyone missed them.
