As rumor mills churn on about the status of Miley Cyrus' and fiancée Liam Hemsworth's relationship, the singer has posted a picture for her new single that could distract people for a bit.
Cyrus has been counting down the days to the release of "We Can't Stop" on Twitter; one of the latest tweets links to a picture of the 20-year-old singer wearing a revealing bodysuit and sporting her short spiky haircut. "Whatchuuu know about dattttt? #thecountdownisreal #2DaysWeCantStop," reads the tweet (the picture can also be seen on her website). Cyrus has also been posting pictures from the video shoot on her social network timeline.
Produced by Mike WiLL Made-It, "We Can't Stop" will debut on June 3. "Me and Mike-WiLL [Made-It] teamed up, and it really just turned out to be perfect and exactly what I wanted, and exactly what I wanted my first sound to be, and my first look to be. I think it's an important message for me to tell my fans -- they haven't stopped waiting, so it's great," gushed Cyrus in a 2013 Billboard Music Awards pre-show interview.
A fourth studio album (of which "We Can't Stop" will be the lead single) is in the works as well. "I feel like I can really be myself," Cyrus told Billboard. "I really have more of a connection of who I am, and I feel like I can maybe express that more in my music now." The singer is reportedly working with Pharrell Williams, Hit-Boy, Da Internz, and Tyler, the Creator on the album.
After 2010's "Can't Be Tamed", Cyrus has been making news on the music scene of late. She collaborated with will.i.am for his new single "Fall Down". She's also contributed vocals for Snoop Lion's track "Ashtrays and Heartbreaks". "We're both going through transformation. We both love making music and doing what we do and speaking from our hearts, and it's just a great collaboration," said the rapper to MTV News. For her part, Cyrus professed to Ryan Seacrest in March about being "so excited" about having recorded with Lion, and wanting to hang out with him some more. "He was in Europe when he was recording, but he's here this weekend, so I'm pretty excited. I'm think I'm going to take a bunch of my friends and go hang out," she said.
