Tori Spelling's Lifetime Series 'True Tori' Renewed for Season 2 (VIDEO)

Lifetime's "True Tori" is coming back for round two.

Tori Spelling's Lifetime docu-series about trying to save her marriage after husband Dean McDermott was caught cheating is coming back for a second season, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Production for the new season reportedly began on Thursday.

The unscripted series will consist of eight new episodes. Lifetime stated that the second season "will follow Tori in near real-time as she searches for honesty and happiness with Dean."

"Cameras will capture this raw, unfiltered journey as she addresses everything from her family relationships to her business ventures, all while juggling four kids and salvaging her marriage," Lifetime noted in the release. "While much of the chaos of last spring is seemingly behind her, there still exists a tremendous amount of work ahead for Tori as she struggles to find her true self."

The couple, who have been married since 2006, have two sons and two daughters together.

In August, Spelling wrote in a blog post explained that she was "proud" of her husband. McDermott, who admitted on the reality show that he cheated on her with another woman, dealt with the aftermath of the affair on the first season of the show.

"As all of you know, our family has been through a lot this last year," she wrote. "I'm happy and proud to say that we are doing really well, and that Dean and I are working very hard to make our relationship and our family better than ever."

The second season of the show premieres Oct. 21 at 9 PM on the Lifetime network.
