True to its title, "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution" is set to feature a revolution(ary) lineup of more than 100 playable characters, including many never-before-seen characters, revamped fighting and support systems, new modes of play and more than 50 minutes of exclusive anime content created especially for the game by Studio Pierrot, according to Bandai Namco.
Among the much-talked-about new features is the Ninja World Tournament mode which pits one against three in an anything-goes, last- man-standing match. There will also be a brand new exclusive character designed by series creator Masashi Kishimoto himself: the robotic Mecha Naruto.
Fans who pre-order the game will receive not only the Day 1 Edition, featuring special alternate costumes for #1 hyperactive knucklehead ninja Naruto Uzumaki and his long-time rival Sasuke Uchiha, but also an exclusive samurai armor costume pack, and as a Gamestop-exclusive bonus, a Mecha Naruto poster (while supplies last). There's still time to pre-order, so do it if you want it!
The game comes flying in on Sept. 16.
This release comes not long after Bandai Namco's announcement of the sales success of its predecessor, "Naurto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3," which topped 2 million worldwide with 1 million sold in the U.S. alone, as reported by Playstation Lifestyle.
