Congratulations are in order for "30 Rock" and "Glee" star Cheyenne Jackson and his entrepreneur boyfriend Jason Landau.
People Magazine reported that the couple tied the knot in an outdoor interfaith ceremony - as Landau is Jewish - at a friend's estate in Encino, Los Angeles Saturday evening. The newlyweds showed off their wedding rings in an Instagram with the caption, "M A R R I E D. Life is beautiful."
"This means a new beginning for us," Jackson told People magazine of the ceremony. "It was love at first sight and this is just the culmination of that."
The actor and his now-husband exchanged vows in front of 200 guests, including friends and fellow actors Leah Remini, Rebecca Romijn and husband Jerry O'Connell, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Alicia Silverstone, Jane Lynch, and Kenneth Cole. The couple's dog Billie Jean reportedly played a special role in the ceremony.
"They are so good for each other and make each other extremely happy," an insider told Us Weekly about the ceremony.
Jackson wore a black Calvin Klein tux while Landau sported a John Varvatos suit. People described the ceremony and reception - which was produced by 1540 productions - as "a mixture of nature and elegance."
"I'm from Idaho so I wanted everything to feel very woodsy," Jackson explained to the magazine. Landau added, "There were branches of trees hovering over the tennis court we're on with over 100 mini chandeliers draping the entire party. It was gorgeous."
The ceremony took an emotional turn when both the grooms' mothers came to the altar and gave the couple kisses on the cheek - reportedly symbolizing that they have been given away to one another.
Jackson, who serves as an ambassador for the AIDS organization, met Landau last year while in rehab for alcohol addiction. The couple announced their engagement in February.
"We've both been through a lot in our lives," Jackson told People. "We got sober together. Now we sing and we dance together. It blows my mind."
This is Jackson's second marriage. The actor was previously married to Monte Lapka, however the couple split in 2013 after dating for 13 years and being married for two.
