The Northern Knights are 2-0 to start the season after their 72-run win on Sunday against the Lahore Lions. Tim Southee earned the Man of the Match award for his performance, which included taking three wickets and recording four outs.
"I enjoy bowling with him," Trent Boult said of Southee, via CricBuzz.com. "I have known him for a lot of years now, we have grown up together and played age group cricket together and I have learnt a lot from him. He is a great bowler and that is why he is amongst the top ten in the world."
On the offensive front, skipper Daniel Flynn and BJ Watling scored 53 runs apiece, and Daniel Harris chipped in with 20 runs.
Mumbai, meanwhile, is 1-1 after bouncing back from an opening loss to the Lahore Lions with a nine-wicket win against Southern Express. Lendl Simmons won the Man of the Match award after scoring a game-high 76 runs.
