Kolkata plays Chennai on Wednesday in Match 1 of the World T20 League. The contest starts at 14:30 GMT. Watch the live stream below.
Kolkata will be without key players Morne Morkel and Chris Lynn because of injuries, and without Shakib Al Hasan because of a ban. Despite coming into the match as an underdog and with a depleted roster, skipper Gautam Gambhir insists his squad still has high expectations for themselves.
"Our record in World T20 League is not that great. Hopefully we have to rectify that," Gambhir said, via CricBuzz.com. "There is a lot we can play for. World T20 League is the tournament that we have not won and we have the side that can win any tournament. So this time we are motivated to win the tournament."
Chennai, meanwhile, will enjoy the benefits of having Dwayne Bravo available this time.
"We have a very good side. About the chances, it all depends on how well we adapt. The good thing for us will be, we missed Bravo during the T20 League. He got injured. That really affected the strength of the side, that combination and stability of the side," said Skipper MS Dhoni. "It is good to have him back."
