Microsoft Brings Xbox One Controller To Windows

Microsoft has launched an all-new Xbox One Controller for Windows, promising the "comfort and precision" of Xbox One on personal computers.

The Xbox One Controller for Windows comes with an additional wire, which can be plugged into the empty USB port on the tower and the other end to the controller. It is compatible with PCs running Windows 7 and Windows 8 as the base operating system and requires a Pentium 300 MHz or higher processor, with minimum 128MB of RAM and 150MB of hard disk space.

The new controller also works with both PC and Xbox One. While the controller works only as a wired connection to the PCs, Microsoft has unlocked the wireless functionality in the controller for Xbox One consoles.

The Xbox One Controller supports sweeping and directional movements on the D-pad, and the thumbstick offers better grip and accuracy. The triggers and the bumpers on the controller are slightly remodeled for quick access. It also works with Kinect for Xbox One, Xbox One Play and Charge Kit and the Xbox One Chat Headset, The Next Web reports.

Available in November, the new controller by Microsoft will retail for $60 across all major retailers and Microsoft branded outlets.
