‘Revenge’ Season 4 Spoilers: Emily Thorne Becomes Victoria Grayson’s Target in New Trailer (WATCH)

Emily Thorne (Emily Van Camp) has a target on her back. The first three seasons of ABC's "Revenge" showed Emily Thorne on a deadly mission to destroy the people responsible for her father's imprisonment and murder. In a new trailer for Season 4, the tables have turned and Emily is the one who's being targeted.

The clip begins with Victoria Grayson (Madeleine Stowe) walking along a balcony as she explains her plans for revenge.

"My name is Victoria Grayson and I have a story to tell," she says. "From the second I laid eyes on Emily Thorne, I knew something was wrong."

It flashes back to the time Emily and Victoria first met at a party. Victoria doesn't seem impressed with Emily and reveals that her real name is Amanda Clarke, the daughter of David Clarke who was falsely sent to prison for a crime he didn't commit. While in prison, David was murdered to keep the truth from being revealed.

The death ruined Emily's childhood and she was never able to get over it, so she returned to the Hamptons and pretended to be a single, wealthy girl living all alone. Little did they know, Emily was on a mission to avenge her father's death.

Season 3 ended with Victoria being locked up in a mental institution, but it seems like she won't stay in there for long. It's revealed that Victoria also has plans for revenge.

"Emily Thorne, I'm coming for you," Victoria declares in the trailer.

According to Variety, back in June executive producer Aaron Harberts teased what Victoria would be up to when she show returned.

"She's done terrible things," he said. "She's obviously a very wounded and messed up character, but at the end of the day, when she manages to get out, she's going to be setting her sights on Emily."

"As Emily is trying to create a new, more positive life for herself, as she tries to move forward, Victoria is going to be coming up behind her," he added.

Season 4 of "Revenge" kicks off Sept. 28 on ABC.
