The “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” production is currently shooting scenes with Batman's new ride, causing more photos and video to surface online.
Autoblog has posted 25 images of the Batmobile giving fans different views of the vehicle (check out the photos here). The “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” production also shared footage of the chase scene on its official Instagram account.
The video features the Batmobile shooting at a black car as it chases it through the streets of Gotham. You can watch the footage in the video below.
It’s unclear is Ben Affleck took part of the Batmobile chase scenes, but the actor recently spoke about his character during an interview with The Sunday Times.
The actor revealed he could connect with Batman’s emotion, specifically the rage he feels at times. Affleck claimed he needed to understand anger in order to accurately portray the DC superhero.
“For me, anger is so deeply buried and contained that when it does kind of come out, it comes out in stronger bursts,” Affleck said. “I tend to be respectful, polite, get along, put up with, put up with, put up with… then, when it finally emerges, it’s not something I have a ton of control over. I’m not gonna go into a Wolverine berserker rage, but I do have a, I do…
“That is an interesting thing that you point out. That’s my personality… By the way, that’s a character flaw, I think. I should sit down and say, ‘Listen, I just want to let you know what happened there wasn’t OK’, instead of going, let it go, let it go, let it go… ‘Ah, that’s not a big deal’, until finally you just pop!”
“Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” is slated to hit theaters on March 25, 2016.
