Tim McGraw Says Wife Faith Hill 'Makes Me Better At Everything'

Tim McGraw is one smart man.

On Tuesday (Sept. 16), the singer appeared on "Good Morning America" to celebrate the release of his new album "Sundown Heaven Town," and not only did he perform, he also gave his wife and fellow country star Faith Hill one mega-sweet on-air compliment.

"GMA" host Robin Roberts, standing next to the superstar during his early morning appearance on the popular show, beamed and asked the studio audience and millions of viewers, "Does he look fantastic or what?" McGraw did look fantastic in a light blue button-down shirt, dark blue jeans and black cowboy hat.

McGraw was lightning-quick in bouncing back a compliment to Roberts. He declared, "Not as good as you do, c'mon."

When Roberts mentioned the fan-favorite duet "Meanwhile Back at Mama's" that McGraw sang with Hill, McGraw's face lit up with a broad grin.

"Just to hear her sing, she's one of the greatest singers, I think, in the business," he drawled. "I always feel like I'm a NASCAR runner with a Formula One racer when I think of her. She makes me better at everything, so it's good to have her along."

McGraw's emotional declaration was met with a resounding "awww" from Roberts and the audience.

McGraw's 13-track "Sundown Heaven Town (with a deluxe version available) encompasses everything the singer has done in his career, and he's described the album as a microcosm of all that he has experienced during his country music odyssey.

"I think that throughout my career, I've always tried to do a lot of different styles of music with the genre of country music, 'cause I've always felt like that when I sing, it's gonna be country," the singer shared. "It just sort of sounds like everything I've done throughout my career. And it also sort of points to the future a little bit."

A future that will no doubt include continued duets and on-stage performances with his beautiful and talented wife. Yep, Tim is one smart man.
