Kendall Jenner ‘Bullied’ at NYFW: Models Didn’t Think She Deserved to be There?

Kendall Jenner has been landing modeling gigs left and right after transitioning from reality star to high-fashion model. The 18-year-old has landed covers for Love magazine and Teen Vogue, and most recently walked the catwalk for New York Fashion Week.

However, a new report claims that Fashion Week wasn't all that pleasant for the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star. A source told In Touch magazine (via Radar Online) that some of the other models allegedly bullied Jenner backstage at the event.

Reportedly, a few even went as far as to put their cigarettes out in her drink.

"The other models worked so hard to get a spot on the runway and didn't think it was fair that she was there," a source told the tabloid.

Apparently, a few of the models think Jenner landed the Fashion Week gig because of her famous family and Kanye West's connections. West married Jenner's sister, Kim Kardashian, in May.

"They thought she was getting special treatment and just weren't OK with it," the source said. "They started acting so b****y - some even put out their cigarettes in Kendall's drink. Models can be cruel, especially with someone new and entitled."

Despite the rumored backstage drama, Jenner walked the catwalk for Marc Jacobs, Diane Von Furstenberg and Tommy Hilfiger. Back in August, the E! star addressed rumors that she got her big break because of the Kardashian-Jenner name and told Teen Vogue that it actually hurt her career.

"People didn't want to take a chance on me. I think because I was sort of known," Jenner explained. "They were a little bit on the fence about it. Some people might think that what I've done before made it easier for me to get jobs, but it was actually a disadvantage. I had to work even harder."

Because of the instant recognition her name gets, the 18-year-old made the decision to drop her last name. According to US Weekly, she only uses the name "Kendall" for modeling casting calls and auditions. The change was first noted on the website of her modeling agency, The Society Management.

"I did it last year at all the castings too," she told US. "I only go by my first name."

She didn't specify why she dropped her last name but said "it was just my choice."
