"The Walking Dead" actress Sonequa Martin is pregnant.
Martin, who is best known for her recurring role as Sasha on the AMC hit series and Courtney Wells on "The Good Wife," is expecting her first child with her husband Kenric Green, Us Weekly reported. A representative for the 29-year-old actress said she is reportedly expecting a boy and is due in January.
"Kenric and I are beyond excited," she told Us Weekly. "There's nothing like running around fighting zombies in the Georgia heat to stay in shape while pregnant."
Martin and Green met while auditioning for a play in 2009 in Princeton, New Jersey.
Her character on the "Walking Dead" was upgraded to series regular last season. The actress stars alongside Andrew Lincoln, Steven Yeun, Chandler Riggs, Norman Reedus and Chad Coleman, who plays her brother Tyreese.
No word yet on if Martin's pregnancy will be written into the story's plot. Martin has also starred in "Army Wives" and "Once Upon a Time."
The fifth season of "The Walking Dead" is scheduled to premiere on October 12.
