Brandao, Thiago Motta: Head-Butt Gets Striker 6-Month Suspension (VIDEO)

It's Friday. It's almost the weekend. And what screams "weekend fun" more than a couple of funny videos from European soccer leagues?

No?

Bueller? Bueller?

Well, anyway, here are two funny videos from pitch.

The first is, as the article says, a little more "stupid and cowardly" than anything.

The incident itself happened back in August but the punishment for the crime was just handed down, so what could it hurt to take a little jaunt back down memory lane to see just how ridiculous Brandao's actions really were?

What makes this video funny is that Brandao, the SC Bastia striker, basically stands in the tunnel pacing back and forth, looking shady and altogether like he's about to do something he shouldn't, before doing exactly that and attacking Paris Saint Germain FC's Thiago Motta with a quick and vicious head-butt.

And then he runs away.

The attack nearly started a brawl in the tunnel. Here's video of the aftermath:

Motta was clearly upset, and for good reason, I'd say.

Brandao will miss 21 matches due to the incident. He's only appeared in two for the club so far since transferring this summer.

The second video is a lot funnier and slightly less violent. Coritiba striker Joel scored two goals in a game Wednesday night against Sao Paulo. Joel, like many other soccer players, likes to celebrate like each goal really means something to him.

After his second goal Joel decided to take his celebration off the pitch, jumping over a partition at the edge of the field.

What happened next almost looks like the result of high quality video editing:

Joel seems to disappear into thin air. But, what really happened is that he fell down a flight of stairs into the locker rooms, which are apparently underground in that stadium.

He seems disheveled after the incident, maybe a little stunned and confused, but no worse for the wear thankfully.
