So, when you're a country superstar, what happens when you announce to the world that you're expecting your first child? Well, other country stars offer to babysit for your soon-to-be bundle joy!
That's what happened not long after Carrie Underwood and her National Hockey League star husband Mike Fisher made the announcement on Labor Day that the "Blown Away" singer was pregnant.
The Band Perry, who are friends with Underwood and the Nashville Predator player, jumped at the chance to offer their babysitting services to the ecstatic couple.
"We told them we would babysit if they ever need us to, so we are here, give us a call," singer Kimberly Perry told E! News during the "Fashion Rocks" event.
Less than a week after the announcement, Underwood proudly showed off her growing baby bump at the Ravinia Festival in Highland Park, Ill.
The sibling trio The Band Perry even had a head start on preparing for their babysitting duties - they've known about Underwood's pregnancy longer than most folks. They've already starting reading taking-care-of-baby books.
"Well, you know Carrie is a dear friend of ours and she was at my wedding, she and Mike," Kimberly explains. "We actually heard the news a little bit early before the rest of the world did and we are just so thrilled for them!"
Kimberly was quick to weigh in on what's ahead for Underwood and Fisher in their upcoming roles as mom and dad.
"They are just such great human beings and they are going to be great parents."
