Paula Deen is preparing to tell her side of the story behind the racist remark that ruined her career last year, although you can't hear it for free.
The former Food Network star's documentary will reveal the events of the downfall of her career that left her "disappointed" with her actions.
She is making her new website "The Paula Deen Network" that will become live on the internet Wednesday, according to The Associated Press. The website will include episodes from her old cooking show (she purchased the rights to it from The Food Network), recipes and the documentary she is working on.
While the recipes on the website will be free, website subscribers will be charged $9.99 to view the video content, including the documentary.
Deen appeared on "TODAY" this morning for the first time since she stepped down from The Food Network.
"Words are so powerful. They can hurt. They can make people happy. Well, my words hurt people," Deen told Matt Lauer this morning when asked about the lessons she's learned over the past months. "They disappointed people and frankly, I disappointed myself. And for that, I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry for the hurt that I caused people because it went deep."
The site and documentary telling her side of the story are designed to get her career back on its feet, AP reported.
Deen's sons, Jamie and Bobby Deen, who accompanied their mother on "TODAY" this morning, helped the fallen star film over 100 videos for the website over the past year.
She expects to have the documentary posted on her website by Jan. 1, 2015.
