Madden 25 Features: New Sideline Reporter and More Authentic Stadium Sounds Create Realer Gaming Experience

While football fans wait for the next installment of the Madden series which will commemorate the franchise’s 25th anniversary, many are wondering about the new features that will be added to the game.

VSN did an interview with Michael Young, the creative director for Madden NFL 25, which breeded a look into some of the game’s additions and upgrades, according to Operation Sports.

Madden is focusing on creating a realer broadcasting feel. One of the highlights of Madden 25 will be the addition of a new sideline reporter—although that person has not been revealed.

ESPN NFL Analyst Adam Schefter has joined the Madden Cast for at least two more years. He will be a key part of the draft commentary, discussing the potential of each prospect that joins the NFL.

“We’ll be looking to use him in a lot of different ways,” said Young.

The Madden team also traveled with Jim Nance and Phil Simms to get more realistic stadium sounds to make the game feel authentic. For example, the game will feature more realistic referee speech, first down audio, and chants from fans more specific to the stadium they are in. (For example, if you are using the New England Patriots in Gillette Stadium, you’ll hear chants more geared towards the Patriots.)

Currently, the game comes in two editions that will be available in the regular edition and the anniversary edition. The regular edition is available for pre-order on Gamestop.com for $59.99. The Anniversary Edition is available for pre-order on $99 on Amazon.com. It will feature a trial of NFL Sunday Ticket and offers for DirecTV.

Madden 25 will hit stores on August 27.
