The reaction to Keith Urban's "Somewhere In My Car" music video released today was spontaneous - like a red-hot flash fire.
The video "probably shouldn't be viewed in front of small children ... or your parents, for that matter," stated Taste of Country. "The sexy clip features more than a few steamy scenes of backseat (and bedroom ... and rain-covered) make-out sessions."
"It's a seamy affair," declared The Boot.
"You may need a cold shower after watching it," acknowledged Nashvillegab.com, adding that the video was full of "angst, car sex, and ummm-was-that-a-nipple? moments."
"The story is what I would call melancholy," Urban explains about the song, according to Taste of Country. "So for me, the video had to be centered around the present and the past, but focused on the intoxicating emotion of 'those nights.'"
"Those nights" that Urban is referring to are some of the highlights of the provocative video. It was filmed primarily in black and white, with flashes of color for dramatic impact.
"Somewhere in My Car" combines shots of Urban powerfully slicing through the song's guitar solos, reports Taste of Country, fused together with those steamy backseat and bedroom scenes starring Jehane Paris and Rodrigo Calazans, two models making their acting debut.

Directed by famed videographer John Urbano, whose many credits include One Direction, Justin Timberlake and Lissie, the video depicts a couple in an obvious moment of passion, without leaving much to the imagination, notes The Boot. But while Urban - the husband of actress Nicole Kidman - undoubtedly has plenty of places to go when the mood strikes, he says there's something enchanting about making out in a vehicle.
"It's usually spontaneous, raw, intense," Urban tells People. "And even the sense of being suddenly interrupted by someone adds to the adrenaline rush. Who needs a cigarette?"
