It's been a rough week for Hollywood couples. Several of our favorite celebrities have shockingly called it quits with their significant others after years of dating or being married. The most recent is former "American Idol" judge Randy Jackson and his wife Erika Jackson.
According to CBS News, the couple of nearly 19 years has decided to go their separating ways citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for their divorce. Erika filed the papers on Friday, Sept. 26 in Los Angeles listing their separation date as Sept. 11.
CBS reports that Erika is asking for spousal support and physical custody of their 17-year-old child. The couple has two kids together. According to court documents, she also wants her name changed back to Erika Riker.
On Thursday, pop stars Jason Derulo and Jordin Sparks split after three years of dating. A reasoning behind the breakup has not been revealed but a source told E! News that it was a mutual decision.
Following the split, Derulo released a statement to ABC News and slammed rumors that he had cheated on Sparks.
"Though I think it is a private matter and intended to keep my breakup with Jordin personal, due to bogus and irresponsible lies being reported... it became necessary for me to comment. I spent three great years with Jordin and she is one of the most amazing people that I have ever met," he said. "But as in all relationships there are ups and downs and at this time we have decided to amicably part. Infidelity, cheating or deceit played no part in our relationship or our break-up."
Wednesday morning started off with yet another shocking celebrity split when Amber Rose filed for divorce from her rapper husband Wiz Khalifa. According to TMZ, she cited irreconcilable differences but later took to Twitter to accuse Khalifa of cheating.
"Please stop with the fake stories. I would never ever ever cheat on my husband in a million years I think u guys know this... unfortunately my now ex husband can't say the same.," she posted.
And on Monday, reality Kris Jenner filed for divorce from Bruce Jenner, 11 months after she announced their separation. According to US Weekly, she cited irreconcilable differences as the reasoning for the split.
Neither one wants spousal support and they will share custody of their 17-year-old daughter, Kylie Jenner.
