David Ferrer faces Tommy Robredo on Tuesday in the quarterfinals of the 2013 French Open. Ferrer, who hasn't lost a set so far, enjoys a 26-10 record at the Open and hopes to make it further than just the semifinals this year.
The matches start at 8 a.m. ET on Tuesday. Ferrer-Robredo follows the Serena Williams and Svetlana Kuznetsova match.

Andy Murray's withdrawal from the tournament bodes well for Ferrer, who stands an "outside chance" to make it to his first ever Grand Slam final, Tennis Earth reports. Ferrer has already played well this year by winning two ATP World Tour titles. He's also done well in the earlier rounds of this year's Open, including wins over Albert Montanes, Marinko Matosevic and Kevin Anderson.
Robredo will be a challenge. He's shown resiliency throughout the tournament, becoming the first man since 1927 to win three back-to-back matches after being down two sets. Clay has boded well for Robredo ̶ he's made it to at least the quarterfinals in his last four tournaments played on the surface. He won this year's title at Casablanca, his 11th overall. Robredo is still hot from his fourth round upset win over Nicolas Almagro.
Tuesday marks the ninth time these two will face each other. Ferrer has gotten the better of Robredo six of their last eight matches.
