Tesla Motors has big plans for Oct. 9th, as the electric car company teased that next week will see the introduction of "the D and something else."
"The D" stated in the teaser is expected to be the automaker's new Model D vehicle, while "something else" has yet to provide a hint, according to The Verge. This unveiling is expected to take place at the Paris Motor Show.
Several guesses have been made about what the "something else" will be, such as an upgrade to Tesla's current cars, a new infotainment system, and an electric motorcycle.
All that is seen in Tesla's teaser image is a garage door that has the letter "D" on it and a part of the front end of a car that has Tesla's signature headlights, TechCrunch reported.
Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, commented on Twitter about the humor he realized was in his statement "time to unveil the D" that many who have spent enough time on the Internet would notice.
"I love the Internet. Comments had me ROFL. No, it wasn't intentional. Glad I didn't mention the other!" Musk wrote.
