New York Man Beats, Ties Up and Robs His Mother In Her Own Home

A New York City man barged into his mother's New York apartment, attacked and bound her body with twist ties before robbing her, according to a criminal complaint obtained by the New York Daily News.

At around 2 p.m. Monday, the accused Allan Andre rang his mother's doorbell with his girlfriend Andrea Bykovsky, declaring "I'm taking my stuff back" as he stormed inside the Manhattan apartment.

Andre, 27, punched his mother in the face, according to the complaint. He and his 26-year-old girlfriend then "bound [her] arms, body [and] legs with twist ties, rope and packaging tape and pushed her to the floor," the complaint reads.

The duo made their way around the apartment, stealing sentimental valuables like pictures, stuffed animals and entire photo albums. They also stole the victim's cellphone, the complaint stated. The victim's name has not been released.

Bykovsky allegedly threatened her beau's mother with a knife before they fled the scene.

The mother was taken to Mt. Sinai hospital where she was treated for bruises to the arms and cuts to the face and leg. Overall the ordeal caused her a "substantial" amount of pain, reads the complaint according to the Daily News.

Andre and his girlfriend were charged with burglary, robbery and unlawful imprisonment on Wednesday and ordered held on $20,000 bail.
