Think your morning commute was tough?
Travellers from New York to Charlotte, N.C., were a bit delayed Thursday night... because of runaway seafood. According to Good Morning America, a shipment of crabs had overturned in the cargo area of a plane waiting for takeoff at LaGuardia Airport.
ABC News reported that a U.S. Airways spokesperson confirmed that Flight 890 left almost a half-hour late because of "some seafood cargo problems." Airline crew had to gather the liberated crustaceans before the plane could take off.
Passengers of the flight did what anyone would do in that situation: tweeted.
Can't make this stuff up. Flight delayed cuz live crabs got loose in cargo bin. Have to catch crabs before we can board plane. Seriously.

Here's a new one. Flight delayed because box of live crabs broke open and cargo bay. Crew chasing around crabs now. #DeadliestCatch
