Apparently the 4chan hacker is still busy leaking nude and risqué photos of celebrities. On Thursday, more private photos surfaced online mostly targeting minor celebrities, Mashable reports. None of the photos have been confirmed as real but they reportedly include pictures of "The Vampires Diaries" star Nina Dobrev, "Real Housewives of Miami" star Joanna Kruppa, Annalynne McCord, model Erin Cummins and Hulk Hogan's son, Nick Hogan.
There's always the chance that some of the photos might be fake (like with some of Jenny McCarthy's pictures) but Mashable wrote, "The new images ... did not appear to be photoshopped and most of them contained faces visible with no signs of being altered."
Reportedly the photos of Dobrev were not nudes but showed the actress partying with friends, Celebuzz reports. Similar to when actress Anna Kendrick was hacked. The pictures of Krupa and McCord, however, did show them naked. Other celebrities said to be targeted in the new leak also includes Aly Michalka and Leelee Sobieski, according to Celebuzz.
Mashable reports that the pictures were leaked on several sites including Reddit, 4chan and AnonlB. The leaks have been dubbed "The Fappening" (Fap is the Reddit word for masturbation) and initially began in late August when nude pictures of Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton and more were leaked. The scandal continued into September targeting celebs such as Gabrielle Union, Rihanna, Amber Heard, model Emily Ratajkowski, and others.
Recently dozens of celebrities threatened to sue Google for profiting off the stolen photos that were posted online. The search engine responded, saying in a statement, "We've removed tens of thousands of pictures, within hours of the requests being made, and we have closed hundreds of accounts. The Internet is used for many good things. Stealing people's private photos is not one of them."
