Marvel's "Man Without Fear" now has a logo...without fear.
Ever since Marvel Studios announced a "Daredevil" TV show on Netflix last year, information about the show has only been doled out in drips and drabs. There have been a few surreptitious set photos, but nothing official showing series star Charlie Cox in DDs iconic red tights or anything of that nature.
What we have is a logo. It is a cool logo, looking almost exactly like the masthead of a "Daredevil" comic book but, at this point, it would have been nice to see something a bit more substantial.
For the uninitiated, "Marvel's Daredevil" follows the journey of Matt Murdock, who was blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, now fighting against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the super hero Daredevil in modern day Hell's Kitchen, New York City.
It has also just been announced on Marvel.com that there will be an exclusive signing event at New York Comic Con on Saturday, October 11 from 3:45-4:45 p.m. ET at the Marvel Booth (#1354)
For the first time, Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock), Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page), Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson), and Vincent D'Onofrio (Wilson Fisk) will meet and greet the fans.
All fans who participate in this signing will also receive an exclusive "Marvel's Daredevil" production concept art poster, drawn by Marvel Chief Creative Officer and legendary artist Joe Quesada.
So it seems that New York Comic Con will be a coming out party of sorts for the Guardian Devil. Here's hoping there will also be a heaping helping of content (trailer, costumes, plot lines, etc.) revealed about the showat NYCC, which is slated to premier on Netflix in May of 2015. It would be rather fitting as DD/Matt Murdock is a dyed-in-the-wool New Yorker after all.
Stay tuned for more as it develops next week...
