Raven-Symoné is giving young Hollywood a piece of her mind.
The 28-year-old former child star sat down with Oprah Winfrey for an episode of "Where Are They Now?" to explain how she has managed to keep her private life out of the tabloids.
"My parents taught me to keep my private life private to the best of my ability," the actress said. "They showed me all the role models out there that I could turn into and what I want from myself in the future and seeing all of the statistics [with] child stars going off the edge."
Raven began her career after landing a role on "The Cosby Show" at the age of three. Unlike her fellow child stars - Lindsay Lohan and Amanda Bynes - the multi-colored hair actress has managed to avoid any major scandal.
"And what I've learned is it's unnecessary to go to the most popular restaurant in the world when you have a scandal on your head and then get mad that someone's going to take a picture of you," she said. "That's your fault, boo boo. Stay in the house."
The "That's So Raven" actress did not pinpoint which celebrities she was referring to in her remake. During the interview the actress also addressed the rumors surrounding her sexual orientation.
In 2012, former Disney actress tweeted, "My sexual orientation is mine, and the person I'm datings to know. I'm not one for a public display of my life."
Raven-Symone's episode of "Oprah: Where Are They Now?" airs Sunday, Oct. 5 at 9 p.m. on OWN.
