Los Angeles bounced back from their Game 1 loss with a 3-2 win on Saturday. Dodgers slugger Matt Kemp hit the go-ahead homer in the eighth inning, tying the series 1-1 as it shifts to St. Louis.

"He tried to get me with a couple sliders," Kemp said of Cardinals relief pitcher Pat Neshek, via ESPN. "I laid off some tough ones that were close on the plate, but he left one just out on the plate that I could do something with and I put a good swing on it."

Kemp is now 5-for-9 through the two games of the series with two RBIs and one home run.

"It seemed like a mistake pitch to Matt and he's been hot, as everyone knows, and that was exciting," said Dodgers pitcher Zack Greinke, who pitched seven scoreless innings of two-hit ball.

Dodgers pitcher Hyun-jin Ryu, who missed most of May with a shoulder injury, gets the start on Monday. Although he hasn't pitched since Sept. 12, when he left the game early against San Francisco because of irritation in his shoulder, he feels confident his shoulder won't be an issue in Game 3.

"I tried to make sure I didn't do too much or too little," Ryu said through an interpreter, via the Los Angeles Times. "I feel very confident right now. My arm feels really good. My shoulder feels really strong. And I have a pretty good feeling I'll be able to put in a good game tomorrow."

He'll be opposed by John Lackey, who gave up two earned runs on Sept. 24 - his last start - against the Chicago Cubs.
