Despite the Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett recent cheating scandal, the couple first priority is protecting their two children.
The actress and reality star told E! that she was forced to explain her marital troubles to the couple's four-year-old son Hank Jr. The young boy has reportedly witness his parents first "big blowout fight."
"My son is definitely not old enough for any of this or any detail or any explanation," she said. "But he did witness the initial fight. It's funny because he's never ever witnessed a fight between Hank and me."
She added: "Little Hank is too young to understand all this. He was old enough to understand that mama and papa did have a big blowout fight and I had to explain what that meant. I didn't explain what it was about, but I explained that papa had to go on grown-up time-out and it was really sad."
The couple's five-year marriage is in jeopardy after Baskett, a former football player, allegedly cheated on his wife with a transsexual model. The rumors were made public just week after Wilkerson gave birth to the couple's now five-month-old daughter, Alijah.
"[Hank Jr.] still thinks about that day sometimes and he'll bring it up and I make sure that I comfort him and tell him that we're all not perfect and we all get in fights," she said.
