Drake's entourage allegedly threatened a Houston stripper after the "Started From The Bottom" singer had sex with her, which prompted a police investigation, TMZ reported on Tuesday.
The city's police department confirmed that they've began investigating the claims, but the official document only identifies Drake as a "possible celebrity."
Jhonni Blaze, the stripper, told police she and Drake slept together once, and he thought she was going to go public about it. That's when Drake allegedly began to send her angry text messages. Several of Drake's people also came to her house and made threats against her life.
Despite going to the police, Blaze said she's unsure if she wants to press charges against him.
Sources close to the star maintain that Blaze's accusations are untrue, Hip Hop DX reported. In a recording, Blaze also refutes rumors that Drake got her pregnant, according to Celebuzz.
Amid the allegations, Drake issued Hood Grammys to fellow rappers this month on Instagram. Bobby Shmurda, Rae Sremmurd and OG Maco were among the artists who received Drake's Hood Grammy.
"Mixtape Of The Year" and "Best All Around Turn Up" were among the categories up for grabs.
