Jennifer Garner says “You’re Welcome” regarding her husband Ben Affleck’s full frontal nude scene in “Gone Girl.”
Affleck’s “Gone Girl” movie beat out the horror film “Annabelle” to take the number one spot at the box office this weekend, and Garner couldn’t be more excited.
The actress stopped by "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" to promote her new film "Men, Women and Children”, and Ellen took a moment to ask how she felt about him showing his package in a shower scene with actress Rosamund Pike.
"He's showing his penis. I think you're probably onto something. What I have to say is, 'You're welcome,'" she said, laughing with Ellen. "I just try to consider myself a charitable person and I wanted to give back. You give me so much, I wanted to give something back to all of you."
The actress confirmed it was the first time the world saw her husband’s penis on-screen. Garner claimed his decision to go full frontal in “Gone Girl” was a spur of the moment decision, which she handled with an incredible amount of charm.
"It wasn't a discussion,'" Garner told Ellen. "It was like, [using her Ben Affleck impression] 'Hey, at work today Fincher talked me into coming out of the shower.' And I was like, 'Oh, cool, well, I hope he had on a wide lens.'"
