Amanda Bynes has made a Twitter comeback.
The 28-year-old troubled star returned to Twitter on Tuesday after a five-month hiatus, but this time, Bynes has decided to use the networking site to address the rumors surrounding her erratic behavior.
"Don't believe anything the tabloids are saying about me. They dislike me for some odd reason & they continue to insult me everyday," she tweeted to her three million followers.
Bynes followed it up with another tweet, which read, "Treat others how you want to be treated. The truth will set you free."
The "What I Like About You" actress also explained her recent move from California to New York and wrote, "I'm transferring to NYU or Columbia from FIDM to study psychology, so you'll see me in New York if you live here but I HATE stalkers!" she wrote.
Despite Bynes' claims that she wishes to transfer out of the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, sources told TMZ that the actress was kicked out of the school last month for allegedly attending class high on marijuana, cheating on a test and for showcasing bizarre behavior.
Bynes recently told In Touch Magazine that she was engaged to her 19-year-old boyfriend named Caleb, who lives in Costa Mesa, California and works at a bait shop.
"I am very needy for friendship and I hate men," she told the publication. "I want to f--- them, but I can now say I'm engaged - get away from me. I want to be married and I want to be away from people."
A week before Bynes moved back to New York, she was arrested for driving under the influence outside of L.A. Bynes was charged with a misdemeanor and held on $15,000 bail before being released.
The move to the Big Apple could spell trouble for the actress. In 2013, Bynes was charged with reckless endangerment and marijuana possession. She was also accused of tossing a bong out the window of her New York apartment.
