Stephen Collins won't have Olivia Pope & Associates handling his latest scandal involving child molestation allegations.
The ABC series "Scandal" cut Collins' upcoming scene, which he filmed in September. "We can confirm that we will not be airing any footage with Stephen Collins," an ABC rep told BuzzFeed News.
The "7th Heaven" star previously appeared on the show as anchorman Reed Wallace in the second- season episode "Happy Birthday, Mr. President." He was set to reprise the role later this season.
"Happy to say I did another episode of #Scandal. Had a gr8 time. Wish I could say more but @ShondaRhimes would have to kill me," he tweeted on Sept. 23.
The New York Police Department is investigating Collins for inappropriate sexual contact with multiple children, according to TMZ. His estranged wife secretly recorded Collins' during a therapy session in 2012 when he allegedly confessed to molesting and/or exposing himself to several underage girls years ago.
TV Guide Network and UpTV pulled "7th Heaven" reruns from its schedule after TMZ released the recordings on Oct. 8. UpTV replaced the WB series' airings with episodes of "Supernanny," "Touched by an Angel" and "The Parkers."
"As a top family-friendly network, we are deeply concerned for the families that are potentially affected by these disturbing allegations surrounding actor Stephen Collins," the network's president and CEO Charley Humbard said in a statement. "We will continue to monitor the situation and listen carefully to our viewers."
Collins and members of the "7th Heaven" cast recently reunited for the first time in eight years. His TV wife Catherine Hicks had no suspicions of her co-star's behavior and told TMZ that "Stephen's a good guy in my opinion."
Seth MacFarlane's "Ted" sequel also dropped Collins from his small role in the film.
"Scandal" killed off one of its stars, Columbus Short, in the fourth season premiere after the actor became embroiled in two criminal cases last spring.
