‘American Horror Story’ Season 4: First Two Episodes Have Easter Eggs for Season 5 (THEORIES)

The fourth season of "American Horror Story," subtitled "Freak Show," kicked off Wednesday night (Oct. 8) with a killer clown and a band of circus performers trying to revive their show. The season has already been labeled as the scariest one to date. Check out the new trailer below to see why.

Entertainment Weekly caught up with creator Ryan Murphy after the first episode premiered and talked to him about what's in store for the characters and also to get the scoop on Season 5. Murphy told EW that he's already talking with actors about the characters they will play. He also suggested that fans pay close attention to the first two episodes for clues.

"There are clues in the first two episodes because I figured out season 5 very early on and I know that the fans love that. So there are clues that are dropped," he said.

Earlier this year Murphy told EW that next season would be "a radically different idea from the stuff we've been doing and it will take a lot of playing."

The show creator also told E! News that he's already reached out to Sarah Paulson (who plays conjoined twins Dot and Bette on "Freak Show") and she "really loves" her Season 5 character. According to E!, Murphy most likely won't make the announcement until the spring.

Some fans are already offering up there ideas of what they think the fifth season will be about. One person created a short blog post of clues from the Season 4 premiere episode suggesting that the next season could have something to do with outer space.

"I don't know if these might actually be hints, but I just got bombarded with all of these hints at once. The show takes place in Jupiter, Florida... Dot has a line in the very beginning where she says '...like the inescapable pull of gravity...' [and] Jessica Lange's character is named Elsa Mars, and she sang 'Life on Mars,'" the blog stated.

"Something to do with space, maybe? I'm not sure exactly where Ryan Murphy would be going with it, but that's a lot of space references tbh."

Another fan also suggested the space/alien idea and provided a couple photos as "proof."

However, one Twitter user hopes Season 5 of "American Horror Story" will be about vampires.
