Minnesota Cheerleader: Teen Accused Of Pimping Out 'Cognitively Delayed' Teammate

A Minnesota cheerleader has been charged with felony sex trafficking and promoting prostitution for prostituting a teammate who is described as "cognitively delayed" according to Fox News.

Montia Marie Parker, 18, reportedly created a Backpage.com ad promoting the unidentified 16-year-old was willing do perform sexual acts for money. Once a client made a request, Parker would drive the teen to the site and collect all of the earnings for herself.

Fox News reports the idea of prostitution was presented to the cognitively delayed teen through Facebook after Parker discovered the teen was in need of some extra cash. The cheerleading pimp then added photos of her classmate on Backpage.com where she promoted prostitution.

The unidentified teen missed school to act as Peter's prostitute. She's required to work with a social worker because she suffers from a "developmental cognitive delay." The school notified the teens mother which prompted her to investigate her daughter's change in behavior.

According to the New York Daily News, authorities were alerted after the 16-year-old's mother read text messages between her daughter and Parker.

"You'll be fine. I didn't drive up here for nothing, and eventually you will need to have sex," the text read.

When addressed by authorities, Parker admitted to posting the ad and acting as the 16-year-old's pimp. One of the incidents in question is when Peter drove her classmate to a client who wanted vaginal sex but the 16-year-old only agreed to oral sex so the exchange never took place.

Peter is currently free on a $50,000 bond. There are no reports on possible jail time faced nor if the victim will face prostitution charges.

Both teens attended Hopkins High School.

"In responding to this incident, we followed our discipline and safety policy, which includes permanently removing a student from campus," said the district in a statement.
