Mexican Massacre: More Mass Graves Found in Iguala

More graves have been discovered in the Mexican town of Iguala, and it is feared that they contain the bodies of more students, Reuters reported. DNA samples have been taken.

Four new suspects took investigators to four new pits, according to Yahoo News.

Attorney General Jesus Murillo said the motive behind the Sept. 26 slaughter of students was not yet clear. There is now a formal search for Jose Luis Abarca, the fugitive mayor of Iguala, and his wife.

State of Guerrero's attorney general, Iñaky Blanco, reported 28 bodies found so far in the first graves that were uncovered. The number of bodies in the newly found graves is unknown. Blanco said it is "probable" that the missing students are among the charred remains.

Mexican citizens are demanding answers, but the discovery of more graves, two weeks after the students went missing, has dampened hopes of finding them alive.
