Nicole Kidman: Husband Keith Urban Has Been Her “Rock” Since Her Father's Death Last Month

While coping with deep grief in the wake of her of losing of her father in September, Nicole Kidman confesses that during the last few weeks she as realized - even more than before - how extremely fortunate she is to have married Keith Urban eight years ago.

"I'm incredibly fortunate that I've managed to find an extraordinary man," admits the Oscar-winning actress. "He has been such a rock for me, through everything, particularly the last few weeks," according to the Daily Mail.

"He's just been divine; so full of love and support, as have my children, as has my sister and my mum, we've been through a lot."

Kidman's psychologist father, Dr. Antony Kidman, died of a heart attack Sept. 12 in Singapore, the Daily Mail reports.

Even though she's done a few interviews over the last week to promote her new thriller, "Before I Go To Sleep," Kidman revealed she's struggling with the idea of returning back to work. At her family home with Urban in Nashville, the Australian actress spoke to News Corp Australia about her difficult time.

"It's been awful. I think we are all still navigating through huge loss and grief right now, my Mum, my sister and I. It's rough."

She notes that the release of the mystery thriller with Colin Firth comes at a bad time.

"It's still too soon for me, but I guess it's going to feel like that for a long time," she acknowledged.

But she says the lessons taught to her by her dad keeps her going.

"You have just got to push on. My Dad, in a weird way, would have ... that's always what he taught us, you just have to put one foot in front of the other."
