Fantasy Football: A.J. Green to Miss More Time?

Cincinnati Bengals star wide receiver A.J. Green is expected to miss the team's upcoming game against the Indianapolis Colts this weekend, Pro Football Talk reports. Green was forced to sit out the Bengals' 37-37 tie against the Carolina Panthers after re-aggravating a toe injury during practice last week.

Green was wearing a protective boot on his right foot on the sidelines Sunday. He is scheduled to meet with a foot specialist for the second time later this week.

The fourth-year receiver fortunately does not need surgery, but this is still not welcome news for fantasy owners. The Bengals are currently eighth in passing yards per game but Green's nagging toe injury has kept his fantasy output inconsistent so far this season. He's had three double digit games while also leaving in the first quarter against the Atlanta Falcons.

Fantasy-wise, Bengals receiver Mohamed Sanu sees another bump up in value in Green's continued absence. Sanu had 10 receptions for 120 yards and a touchdown on 14 targets on Sunday. However, the Colts have not allowed a single 100-yard game to opposing receivers during their current four-game win streak.
