Remember when Amanda Bynes told the whole world she was engaged? Well, that isn't completely true.
Last week, the 28-year-old troubled star told In Touch Magazine that she was engaged to her 19-year-old boyfriend named Caleb Pusey who lives in Costa Mesa, California and works at a bait shop.
"I am very needy for friendship and I hate men," she reportedly said. "I want to f--- them, but I can now say I'm engaged - get away from me. I want to be married and I want to be away from people."
The "Hairspray" actress also expressed her desire to start a family. Bynes tweeted on Wednesday, "I am getting married and my boyfriend and I are going to be on the cover [of] People magazine."
Well, Bynes could be missing a groom on her wedding day.
TMZ reported that Bynes alleged beau - who is an aspiring actor - is not engaged to the actress and added that the pair never dated. The young man reportedly met Bynes in rehab, but claims that they were not close friends and that he has not spoken to the actress months.
Bynes was placed on a 72-hour psychiatric hold at a Pasadena hospital on Friday. Last week, Bynes accused her father of sexually abusing her as a child, but she later retracted the comment.
