UFC officials announced Wednesday that it has added another fight to its UFC 181 pay-per-view event: Urijah Faber vs. Francisco Rivera.
The bout will be Faber's first fight since July, when he gained a submission victory over Alex Caceres at UFC 175, according to MMA Fighting. "The California Kid" won five of his last six fights.
Rivera won three out of his last five fights, having lost his last bout to Takeya Mazugaki via unanimous at UFC 173 this past May. The other fight ended with no-contest.
Faber holds a 31-7 record in MMA, with 7 wins and 3 losses in the UFC, MMAjunkie reported. Rivera is 10-3 in his MMA career, holding a 3-2 record in the UFC.
UFC 181 is already a stacked event, with welterweight champion Johny Hendricks defending his title against Robbie Lawler in the main event and Gilbert Melendez challenging lightweight champion Anthony Pettis.

Travis Browne vs. Brendan Schaub
Holly Holm vs. Raquel Pennington
Tony Ferguson vs. Abel Trujillo
Corey Anderson vs. Gian Villante
Eddie Gordon vs. Josh Samman
Todd Duffee vs. Anthony Hamilton
Matt Hobar vs. Sergio Pettis.
UFC 181 will take places on Dec. 6th in Las Vegas.
