There won't be a happily-ever-after for Charlie Sheen and Brett Rossi. The couple, who's been engaged since February, called off their engagement just weeks before their November wedding. According to ET, the 49-year-old actor made the announcement on Friday (Oct. 17) in a statement.
"Scotty and I had a great year together as we traveled the world and crossed a lot of things off our bucket list," Sheen said. "She's a terrific gal - but we've mutually decided to go our separate ways and not spend the rest of our lives together."
He added, "I've decided that my children deserve my focus more than a relationship does right now. I still have a tremendous fondness for Scotty and I wish her all the best."
The "Anger Management" star surprised everyone - including Rossi - when he proposed during a Hawaiian vacation over Valentine's Day weekend. The two first started dating in November 2013. This would have been Sheen's fourth marriage. He was previously wed to Donna Peele, Denise Richards and Brooke Mueller.
According to reports, Rossi, a former porn star, was previously married to a man named Jonathan Ross. Sheen has five children from his previous relationships: Cassandra Jade Estevez, Lola Rose, Sam Sheen, Max Sheen and Bob Sheen.
He was also once engaged to actress Kelly Preston.
