Who said comedians were mea!? Funnyman Kevin Hart filmed and posted a heartfelt plea to National Car Rental Shuttle to reinstate a bus driver who was suspended without pay for stopping her bus to take a selfie with the actor.
"This message is for National Rent-A-Cars. It has been brought to my attention that Genesha [Bradley-Douglas] has been suspended for taking a selfie with me," the 35-yar-old said in the video posted on Instagram.
"I am asking National to please give this woman a pass. I love National. If I would [have] seen me, I would have taken a selfie with me too. C'mon have to some compassion," Hart pleaded.
The actor captioned the video, "I'm asking 'National Rental Car' to please give Ganesha Douglas a pass. She has learned from her mistake. She nor I intended for this to happen. #LoveMyFans."
Earlier this week, Bradley-Douglas, who is a shuttle bus driver at Los Angeles International Airport, was seen abandoning her shuttle bus - with several passengers inside - to go and take a picture with the "Think Like a Man" star.
In a video obtained by TMZ, the employee is seen in her work uniform taking a picture with Hart, while the actor is heard saying, "She left the bus!" After being suspended from her job Bradley-Douglas said she regrets her actions.
National Car Rental is yet to respond to Hart's plea.
