An Italian couple who decided to go for a romantic tryst in the sea ended up being hospitalized after they got stuck together in the water, The Local reported.
The unidentified couple was having sex in the sea on a nearly deserted beach in Porto San Giorgio when suction prevented the man from detaching himself from the woman.
The duo remained in the same position until they were spotted by a woman walking along the shore of the Adriatic Sea. She gave the embarrassed lovers a towel after they managed to make it out of the water, The Local reported.
Once they arrived at the hospital, a doctor came to the couple's rescue by giving the woman an injection used to dilate her uterus, freeing the man and woman. Their names have not been released.
Oddly enough, this isn't the first time a couple has been locked together while having sex.
