Frank Mir Interested in Rematches with Brock Lesnar and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira

UFC's Frank Mir is open to have one more fight with former rival Brock Lesnar.

The proposed bout would be the third to take place between the two heavyweights, with Mir winning the first at UFC 81 in 2008 and Lesnar gaining redemption at UFC 100 in 2009, according to MMA Fighting.

"I think that [Lesnar's] come back would be good for MMA," Mir said. "He's still popular, people know who he is and he brings attention. We are tied with one win each. I would enjoy a rubber match. I would like to welcome him back to the UFC."

The WWE star isn't Mir's only target, as the former heavyweight champion looks to have a third fight with Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira as well, Bloody Elbow reported. This rivalry, however, is different from the heated one between Mir and Lesnar, as Mir sees Nogueira as a legend in MMA who "has a champion's heart."

"Nogueira and I are very competitive but I have nothing against him outside the octagon," Mir said. "I like him as a person, so, sometimes, it's hard to the fans understand. However, when we face each other, I always want to win. People think that you always have to talk about your rival. It's the case with Lesnar because I don't like him as a person."

Both fights with Nogueira ended with victories for Mir, the first at UFC 92 with a TKO and the second at UFC 140 via submission, MMA Fighting reported. The second time was the first time that Nogueira was forced to tap out, and Mir says the fight is uncomfortable to watch.

"I started to pressure and he was very flexible," he said. "I started to look in the referee's direction waiting for him to stop the fight, so I wouldn't need to keep pressure. I don't think that I was slow enough but his arm was strange. At the moment, I thought I had dislocated his arm, not broken."

Mir said he later watched the fight with his family after they recorded it.

"I stopped when Nogueira's arm popped, I couldn't watch," he said. "They asked me why and I answered, 'I remember it differently. He was punching my face at the time. Watching it from my couch isn't nice.'"
