Congratulations to newlyweds Candice Accola and Joe King.
The 27-year-old "Vampire Diaries" actress, who plays vampire Caroline Forbes on the CW series, tied the knot with her rock star hubby at the Montegut House in New Orleans Saturday, People Magazine reported.
The actress and singer wore a Monique Lhullier gown with an asymmetrical skirt for the French Quarter-themed wedding. King, who is a guitarist for The Fray, wore a Tom Ford suit. Accola walked down the aisle to music by Trombone Shorty, according to People.
After the ceremony, the couple kicked off the celebration with a line parade through the streets of New Orleans that led guests to the reception area. Photos on Instagram show the couple and their guests dancing in the streets.
Accola's "Vampire Diaries" co-stars Paul Wesley, Kat Graham, Michael Trevino, Claire Holt, Kayla Ewell, who was one of the bridesmaids, and the show's creator, Julie Plec, all attended the celebration.
Ian Somerhalder, another co-star, did not make it to the nuptials, but sent his support via Instagram.
"Candace and Joe- my brother, my sister. What a magical day this is for both of you," Somerhalder wrote. "From the eye of the storm I am still with you in spirit! I am missing my home state of Louisiana and my city, the great city of New Orleans. Sending you so much love from my shoot in ATL- I'm working hard & I wish I could be there physically, but we have the rest of our lives to celebrate. I love you guys! So. Much."
The couple gave fans a glimpse of their union on Instagram, and posted pictures of them sharing a romantic kiss with the caption, "Officially Mr. And Mrs. King! Best night ever!"
King proposed to Accola in Florence, Italy in May 2013, after meeting at a celebrity sporting event.
This is the first marriage for Candice and second for Joe, who has two daughters with his former wife.
