Capitol Ministry of Information has released their latest “DISTRICT VOICES!” episode on Capitol TV.
The five-episode YouTube series was inspired by the Panem’s capitol city from the “Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1.” It coincides with other propaganda President Snow has ordered to be release to help shut down the rebellion before is spreads.
Lionsgate hired some of the most popular YouTube vloggers to play characters from Districts that coiencide for with their specialization. For example, Rob Czar and Corinne Leigh of the YouTube channel "Threadbanger” helped show off the creativity of District 8 on Monday. Shane Fazen of “fightTIPS” talked about the Peacekeeper training in District 2 on Tuesday.
Now, YouTuber Derek Muller, known for his science exploration on YouTube channel “Veritasium”, helped talk about the discoveries made in District 5.
“Panem finds power in the radiance of the sun, and the water which rains down upon us! District 5’s Chief Energy Researcher Derek Muller takes CapitolTV on a tour of our nation's cutting edge renewable technologies, and demonstrates one of the largest ‘Kelvin’s Thunderstorm’ experiments ever built to date… all for a brighter and more efficient Panem,” the YouTube episode description reads.
The Capitol may be doing everything in their power to make it seem like everything is fine, but the rebels of District 13 refused to stay silent. The recent TV spots released by the “Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1” reveal what Katniss and the Rebels are experiencing as the war quickly escalates.
Peeta is shown bruised and emotional as he’s become the Capitol’s best weapon against Katniss. Check out the trailers in the videos below. “Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1” will be released to theaters on Nov. 21.
