Kat Von D: Celebrity Hotspot High Voltage Tattoo Damaged in Hollywood Mall Fire

Famed tattoo artist Kat Von D's West Hollywood shop is on fire. According to TMZ, Los Angeles Fire Department was called to celebrity hotspot High Voltage Tattoo around 4 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 23.

It took fire fighters several hours to put out the blaze, the site reports. Around 6:30 a.m. there were no flames visible at the tattoo shop but fire fighters were still inside the building. It's not clear if anyone was hurt in the fire and fire fighters have not said what started the blaze.

High Voltage Tattoo became the "it" place because of Kat Von D's reality show "LA Ink," which was cancelled in 2011. The tattoo artist has inked some of the biggest names in Hollywood including Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, Harry Styles and Jessie James.

Kat Von D has not commented on the fire at High Voltage Tattoo. According to ABC, the blaze started after a business in a West Hollywood strip mall caught on fire. Officials said Von D's tattoo shop sustained some damage as well as Trendsetters Barber Shop.
