Tyler Posey and his fiancée Seana Gorlick have called it quits.
The 23-year-old "Teen Wolf" actor told Us Weekly on Wednesday that he has called off his engagement to his longtime girlfriend of ten years. The star admitted that he is still dealing with the emotional aftermath from the split.
"You're the first interview I've said this to. We have broken up," Posey told Us Weekly at the ASPCA Cocktail Event in honor of Kaley Cuoco and Nikki Reed in Los Angeles. "I'm just gonna get it out there because I get sad talking about it. I'm just gonna get it out there now so that hopefully people start hearing about it."
Posey added that he is doing "okay" since the split, but isn't sure if he and Gorlick are still friends.
The couple announced their engagement last year while vacationing in Hawaii, and have been dating one another since middle school. At the time, he told HollywoodLife.com that he has been waiting to marry Gorlick for years.
During an interview at Comic-Con in July 2013, the former "Maid in Manhattan" actor said he felt an unexplainable connection to Gorlick.
"I couldn't really put it into words when I was that young, but I always had this strong connection to her and it's just been something I cant really explain other than I want to marry you and be with you forever," he said.
"You just know. You definitely just know and I know."
